How can I get rid of/make less noticable flip flop tan lines?

I%26#039;m kind of weary of tanning salons, so I never go in the spring like I should and get a nice base tan. And every summer I wear flip flops with really thick uppers. Thus, I am left with terrible tan lines that look odd when I wear any other kind of shoes. Help!

How can I get rid of/make less noticable flip flop tan lines?
Rub a little Dove Energy Glo moisturizer into the tan lines with a Q-tip. That has a tan tint to it that will even it out. Once you get close in color (a few days use) you can moisturize the entire top of the foot and up the leg so that everything is a even, healthy color.
Reply:If you%26#039;re not really afraid of the tanning bed I would try a stand up tanning booth for just a couple a days during the week and use body drench amplifier after you shower to help keep the tan. But I would stop going after the tan lines were gone, and I would keep using the amplifier after showering because it also helps keep a tan from the sun. The tan would probably stay until summer is gone. If your not willing to get into a tanning booth take those flipp flopps off while your basking in the sun, put some tanning lotion on them and let them get some sun for a few hours and I still would purchase the body drench amplifier to use after showering.
Reply:I would use bronzer by l%26#039;oreal or try evening it out in the tanning bed. If nothing else, take your flip flops off while just sitting outside to prevent tan lines.
Reply:If you put cucumbers on the tan lines, it temporally makes the tan line become less noticeable
Reply:i have the same problem but i use cover up
Reply:Try putting sunscreen on your feet before you go out. If that doesnt help then dont go to a tanning booth. Instead buy some of that tinted moisturizer or bronzer and fill in the tan lines. Its healthier and it cares for your skin at the same time. Hope that helps =)
